Gonzalo de Berceo Gran Reserva 1996 ~ Rioja

Posted in Spanish Red Wine  by Administrator on December 15th, 2008

Gonzalo de Berceo Gran Reserva (Bodegas Berceo ((Grupo de bodegas Luis Gurpegui Muga)) c/ Cuevas, 32-36 26200-Haro (La Rioja) from Luis Gurpegui Muga packs a mean punch. A classic modern Rioja that is bursting with wonderful deep red fruit high notes with soft tannins and mellow spice finish. This is a great little wine which is medium bodied and not too woody.
